Charcoal barbeques are very simple to use and provide great cooking results,
they are not as controlled as the gas BBQ's but they offer a much more traditional
taste that can only come from a charcoal BBQ. You just have to ensure that
the food is cooked properly and you will be fine, this is the biggest problem
with charcoal BBQ's but if you make sure that the food is properly cooked
then you will have no problems.
Charcoal barbeques are very easy to use as you simply buy bags
of charcoal to fuel the BBQ. There are packs that contain small bags of charcoal and
these ignite when you light the bag and so all you have to do is place the
bag of charcoal in the barbeque and light it and soon you will have a perfectly
lit BBQ (you may have to space the charcoal out a little).
Lots of charcoal BBQ's have a side shelf which makes storing utensils and
accessories very easy and they also often come with utensils that you can
use with the barbeque. They usually have a steel grill that you will have
to clean after every barbeque but apart from that they are very easy to care
for, you should clean the inside of the BBQ every now and again but they
usually have a hood and so the outside of the BBQ should be fine (although
it is better to store them away over the winter).
The great thing about charcoal barbeques (apart from the taste) is that they
are very cheap to buy. You can buy a high quality drum charcoal BBQ for a
fraction of the cost of a gas model and many charcoal BBQ's are also very
large although they are not as large as the biggest gas BBQ's. On the right
